Description
This course will introduce students to livestock diseases that have the potential to devastate the agricultural industry in the United States, with an emphasis on Nevada. This course will focus on developing biosecurity plans for individual Nevada producers in the event of a Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak. Students will learn about biosecurity, high-impact livestock diseases, and the integrated collaborative concept of One Health.
