- situate a theatrical movement within its social, political, and cultural contexts.
- explain constructions of race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, and/or class that emerge in a specific theatrical period.
- evaluate theatre in relation to both constructing gender, racial, ethnic, and/or class identities and subverting those identities.
- formulate written and oral arguments about a specific theatrical period.
