Overview
Description
This course examines the historical development and evolution of social welfare policy in the United States. Students will analyze the connection between policy and practice, exploring how legislation and government structures shape the lived experiences of underserved populations and communities and the role of social workers in advocating for equitable and effective social welfare systems.
