- successfully apply advanced knowledge and skills in social-psychological research on research problems provided to them as part of the qualifying examination
- demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of research methods in social psychology, and apply this knowledge in the design of research studies as well as in the analysis of problems typical for social-psychological research.
- critically analyze advanced research problems, generate hypotheses that generate knowledge pertaining to the problems, and propose ways in which these hypotheses can be tested empirically
