- analyze and contrast indigenous Latin-American and Spanish European cultures in the Early Modern period from a transatlantic perspective.
- demonstrate the ability to read critically and share views on Spanish Golden Age and Early Modern Latin-American texts while taking into account the historical conditions of their production.
- articulate, in written materials and in class discussions, interpretations and analyses of literary and historical primary sources and to research corresponding secondary materials.
