- identify main issues and concerns in translating literary and non-literary texts.
- categorize and analyze literary and cultural concepts pertinent to literary translation.
- demonstrate their comprehension of the main principles of literaryand non-literary translation by translating texts from English into Spanish and from Spanish into English.
- demonstrate their competence in literary translation by completing a translation project on a text of their choosing.
