Learning Outcomes
- identify the needs of a particular group of native speakers and to find the means to address it by becoming directly involved in the Hispanic community.
- work with a partner and serve as Spanish translators and/or interpreters.
- talk and write extensively about their experiences in the community and demonstrate improvement in their Spanish writing skills by maintaining a journal in Spanish documenting each visit to local sites.
- incorporate a list of reflection prompts into their journals written in Spanish.
