Overview
Description
Examines shrubland ecology & management: soil characteristics, plant communities, wildlife, spatial-temporal dynamics of structure, function, and process, and land uses. Lab will focus on shrubland plant systematics and identification.
A mix of in-person, field learning, and online learning materials and activities. A MANDATORY multiple-day field trip is required. Students will be provided with a full-semester schedule detailing which days are field, in-person, and independent online learning.
