Overview
Description
The Elective clerkship offers second-year PA students a 5-week experience and an introduction to the role of the primary care medical provider. This course/clerkship will cover the medical, physiological, behavioral, and psychosocial issues common to the elective’s clinical setting across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, geriatric, surgical, mental health, women’s, and maternal health.
