Overview

Description

The Medically Underserved Populations clerkship offers second-year PA students a 5-week primary care clinical introduction to the role of medical providers in either an underserved urban, underserved community clinic or a rural setting. This course specifically expects students to encounter social determinants that affect health outcomes in a variety of vulnerable populations.
