Overview
Description
The Emergency Medicine clerkship offers second-year PA students a 5-week clinical experience and an introduction to the role of the medical provider in the emergency department setting. This course/clerkship specifically expects students to encounter populations of patients across the lifespan in an emergency setting with the understanding that many PAs work in the urgent/emergent care section of the hospital/medical center.
