Overview
Description
The Family Medicine clerkship offers second-year PA students a 5-week ambulatory, primary care clinical experience and an introduction to the role of the primary care medical provider. This course/clerkship (rotation) will cover the medical, physiological, behavioral, and psychosocial issues common to family medicine practice across the lifespan, including pediatric, geriatric, mental health, women’s, and maternal health.
