- interpret and critically-analyze scholarly research and determine its relevance and/or application to nutrition practice.
- formulate a research question using the population, intervention, control and outcomes (PICO) format that relates to a gap in knowledge within one or more components of the Nutrition Care Process.
- explain reasons for the research/practice gap and the potential role of translational and implementation sciences to address this disparity.
