- utilize knowledge and skills from current and previous courses to assess, diagnose and manage selected chronic illnesses commonly occurring primary care for adult and geriatric patients.
- provide the full spectrum of health care services to include health promotion, disease prevention, health protection, anticipatory guidance, counseling, disease management, palliative, and end-of-life care.
- participate with faculty and preceptors to formulate approaches to care of chronic illness that include traditional, integrative/complementary therapies.
