Learning Outcomes
- provide the full spectrum of health care services to include health promotion, disease prevention, health protection, anticipatory guidance, counseling, disease management across the life-span.
- utilize knowledge and skills from previous courses to assess, diagnose chronic illness commonly occurring in the primary care setting across the life-span.
- provide comprehensive health education to individuals, families, and communities.
- participate with faculty and preceptors in the management of primary care health issues.
- integrate the NONPF competencies as they pertain the role of the FNP.
