Overview

Description

Survey of core concepts and case studies related to the science and management of wetlands and riparian systems. Topics will include geography, hydrology, biogeochemistry, plants and wildlife, management, natural resource issues, restoration, and policy. Field labs will involve visits to nearby sites and demonstrations of field techniques. A term project will allow students to direct focus on a related topic of interest to them.
