Overview
Description
Overview of Energetic materials, Basic Chemistry and Properties of Explosive Materials, Thermodynamics of Decomposition, Shock Wave and Detonation Theory, Initiation and Initiators, Blast Effects. This course is offered primarily at Sandia National Laboratory in New Mexico and may be occasionally offered at other authorized locations. May be offered at other authorized locations. Students are responsible for all national laboratory fees and expenses associated with the course location.
