- take part in successful teaching experiences under the mentorship of an experienced teacher.
- identify best practices of various components of teaching, e.g. curricular choices, sequencing, and assessment, utilized by teachers.

- identify classroom management strategies and describe the impact that management (or lack thereof) has on a music classroom.
