Overview
Description
Principles of Geomechanics and numerical models are used in the design of mining or civil excavations, such as: large underground stopes, rock slopes, tunnels, shafts, measuring ground subsidence, and other surface or underground excavations. The course benefits students across diverse fields, such as mining, civil, and geological engineering.

- describe ground subsidence considerations: Characterization of ground movements, chimney cave, caving rock, support near caving ground, ground movements monitoring.
