Overview
Description
This course reviews earth processes and structures as they pertain to mining and metallurgical engineering. Provides overview of common ore deposits, associated ore forming processes, and implications for economic extraction. Review of industry examples of mining and metallurgical practice as it relates to deposit type. Optional weekend field trip.
