Course focuses on introducing Cadets to the Army, critical thinking, and the Profession of Arms. Students will examine the Army Profession and what it means to be a professional in the U.S. Army.

- identify and analyze an ethical issue in context to the United States Army.
- demonstrate a basic knowledge of US Military Customs, Courtesies and Traditions.
- write coherently and observe the standards of academic English.
- identify the three types of learners: Visual, Auditory, and Tactile/ Kinesthetic.
- improve the physical and psychological health, resiliency of the Soldiers, their Families and Department of the Army Civilians.
- demonstrate an understanding of the goal setting process and identify key points that underlie setting effective goals and how to implement a time management plan.
- define Critical Thinking and utilize Critical Thinking Skills to analyze the logic and reason of a written article.
