- identify, classify, and discuss basic geometric shapes used in K-8 classrooms.
- apply and invent formulas for volume, area, surface area and perimeter on basic geometric shapes and extensions of those shapes.
- calculate statistical formulas including mean, mode, median, standard deviation and range on small data sets and interpret their meanings.
