Description
Jour 492/692 explores the key theories, methods, and themes that inform the study of media effects. Students will engage in critical analysis of media content and its effects on society, identifying the complex ways in which media influences audiences at both the individual and group level. This class provides access to RSJ’s media effects lab, facilitating unique opportunities for students to explore physiological and cognitive responses to media content.
