Overview

Description

This multimedia sports broadcasting course is designed to allow students to practice their audio/video skills by reporting on local teams and sports through a wide variety of assignments, both in and outside of the class. The assignments will encompass everything from podcasts to TV packages, minidocs, a team documentary, stand-ups, and play-by-play, to pre/post-game reports. The assignments and lectures in class reflect various disciplines in sports reporting, covering roles from the reporter and anchor to the sideline analyst, host, and sports talk reporter.
