Description

This course introduces students to the pathways by which discoveries in biology and chemistry progress toward commercialization. Students will engage in guest lectures, case study discussions, and a reflection assignment to better understand how bioinspired technologies move from discovery to application. This course emphasizes exposure and discussion, not team deliverables or formal pitches. It prepares students for future courses that will involve team projects, formal pitches, and innovation competitions.
