- identify core careers, research terms, major theories, and ethical tenets in the field of human development and family science.
- articulate major topics in human development and family science and use major developmental and family theories as part of their articulation.
- identify the following: what research is, ethics, research designs, the main components of research articles, and hallmarks of consuming and producing research.
- write about major concepts in the area of human development and family science and link these concepts to various careers in human development and family science.
- describe one HDFS profession in-depth and generate five questions to ask a guest panel of HDFS professionals.
- identify and to apply professional skills by participating in inclass activities.
