Graduate seminar focused on scholarship that studies activism, as well as activism that comes directly out of academic study and the tools of humanistic inquiry. Topics will vary by semester.

Learning Outcomes
- analyze how humanistic scholarship can be used to dismantle injustice and effect social change and transformation.
- carry out a project that advances community action around a social issue related to their individual programs of study.
- apply skills gained in graduate training to public and community engagement, and consider possibilities for careers and future directions within and outside of the academy.
