Overview
Description
Course develops skills associated with applied geologic investigations, including designing a research approach, documenting geologic observations, generating and testing hypotheses, making interpretations, and production of descriptive professional products including reports, cross sections, and annotated figures. Through a series of exercises, students will work on these skills, while learning learn advanced geologic techniques, such as lithologic, stratigraphic, and structural descriptions.
