- identify and critically analyze the major social, political, historical and artistic currents that make up France.
- examine diverse documents including literary texts, films, websites, newspapers, music clips, etc. in order to enrich their perspective of French culture.
- contextualize and analyze texts and events in France in relation to their historical context, in the international context, as well as in relation to the student’s home country.
