Overview
Description
This is an immersive rotation in the largest LGBTQ+ focused clinic in the state. The student is expected to participate in all aspects of the primary care of the patients in this clinic, under the supervision of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and/or physicians. At the discretion of clinic personnel, the student will conduct patient visits, obtain a history including sexual history and organ inventory, examine the patient, develop a differential diagnosis and then present assessment and plan to the supervising nurse practitioner.
