Overview

Description

In this course, we will engage various understandings of media and the tensions surrounding the production, circulation, and reception of information. Paying special attention to questions of knowledge, power, and access, we will critique and create media texts and experiment with various technological platforms. Drawing from social media theories, we will analyze and produce digital compositions ranging from games to digital stories, story-maps to apps.
