- discuss historical perspectives on EBD and how they impact current issues facing the field.
- assess works by authors on the characteristics of children with EBD and the experiences of teaching children with EBD and compare/contrast to their own perspectives to teaching students with behavioral challenges.
- identify the various mental health diagnoses under the umbrella of EBD and describe how they impact children and adolescents in the school setting.
