  • appropriately use at least three data collection methods to gather data on student behaviors in order to assess a problem behavior and develop a hypothesis for the possible function of the problem behavior.
  • design positive behavior support plans that pair the appropriate behavioral interventions for hypothesized functions of problem behaviors.
  • evaluate data collected after implementation of an intervention plan in order to assess the effectiveness of the plan in effecting behavior change.
  • demonstrate methods to explicitly teach interpersonal skills, including communication and self-management, aligning lessons with classroom and school wide expectations for student behavior.
