- show a clear understanding of the historical background of curriculum by tracing one’s initial understandings as a student to one’s present day understanding as a student/practitioner.
- demonstrate understanding of a chapter in the text (Pinar) through a presentation that captures an overview of the essential content of the chapter supported by a bibliography of related research.
- demonstrate knowledge of two forms of curriculum inquiry by writing a curriculum inquiry paper that reflects research for and against the form of inquiry.
