- analyze global environmental issues, problems and uses of emerging technologies from a holistic perspective using a knowledge of mathematics, science, technology and the social sciences.
- seek out and use current and reliable resources to teach students about the above (refer to SLO 1).
- use teaching strategies such as problem based learning to help students use inquiry and empirical evidence to critically analyze complex environmental issues/problems from a variety of perspectives.
