- discuss, identify, and reflect upon the geography, history, traditional philosophies and values, customs and etiquette of China.
- contextualize and analyze current sociocultural and political events and experiences in relations to historical and current global context between China and the U.S.
- critically examine complex issues and problems of global significance in terms of socioeconomic development between China and the U.S.
- identify and apply multiple perspectives pertaining to global issues among China, other Asian regions as well as the U.S.
