- demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental principles and philosophies of various counseling theories
- demonstrate theoretical and self-knowledge in leadership
- provide a written understanding of the fundamental principles of various theoretical paradigms (i. e. formistic, mechanistic, contextualistic, and organistic) used in counseling clients
- effectively present a 1-hour lecture/activity to classmates and professor demonstrating a theoretical paradigm of choice based on Pepper’s World Hypotheses and Dialogues with Carl Rogers
- communicate the essential notions of dialectics and adult development by generating a master list of dialectical words and creating and comparing binary and dialectical stories based on the list.
