Overview
Description
This course will cover an introduction to transportation planning in urban areas. The multi-disciplinary nature of planning as an area for professional practice in the geographical, socio-economic and political contexts of the U.S. will be stressed. Furthermore, this course will examine history of urban transportation planning, planning decisions and their ability to influence stakeholder priorities, and transportation problems as related to urban areas; transit and other mode.
