Description
This course offers hands-on training in fisheries science through field, laboratory, and data-analysis approaches. Students learn fish sampling techniques across aquatic habitats, proper handling to collect biological data, and fisheries analyses using R to assess growth, condition, and population dynamics. The course also examines local and global fisheries conservation and management challenges and potential solutions.
