Overview
Description
This course investigates how climate change affects animal function in different environments. Animal responses to changing environmental conditions consider both plastic (behavioral or physiological responses within an animals lifespan) and genetic (evolutionary) responses of populations. This course combined understanding of animal physiology and evolution to predict how species will respond to climate change and evaluate potential mitigation strategies.
