Physiology of the, integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Primarily for pre-professional students pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, and other professional degree programs. This course may be used for credit towards the major in Biology.

- describe the underlying basic physiological function of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems of the body.
- evaluate the significance of maintaining homeostasis to the survival of the whole organism.
- evaluate the molecular and cellular basis of muscle contraction, factors affecting tension production, and metabolic physiology.
- evaluate the molecular and cellular basis of neural activity.
- develop critical thinking skills in order to be able to think like a physiologist, and solve physiologically-relevant problems.
