Overview

Description

Introduction to letterpress printing through studio projects using physical type, linoleum, pressure printing, and/or polymer plates. Development of design, typography, and edition-printing skills through an integration of digital tools and connections to historical and contemporary methods. Critiques support creative, conceptual, and technical growth. Students should expect to spend time outside of class working in the studio on designated projects.
