- describe different sheep management systems and marketing strategies used in the Western United States.
- demonstrate application of managerial skills and production tools and techniques through both laboratory exercises and the required 3-day lambing experiential activity.
- apply knowledge from Livestock Production (AGSC 100), Nutrition (AGSC 206/406), Anatomy and Physiology (VM 328), genetics, diseases, and management and business principles to solve problems associated with a sheep operation.
